This box is an ideal way to start a Tyranids collection – or to expand an existing army – and devour plenty of biomass in Warhammer 40,000. It also saves you money compared to buying the kits individually. A Hive Tyrant provides a strong bond to the Hive Mind, allowing individual units to operate in a coordinated fashion. A Lictor and a unit of Von Ryan's Leapers surge forward to disrupt the foe and take out tough targets. Tyranid Warriors, Termagants, and Hormagaunts fill out the battlefield, giving you control over the ebb and flow of battle and letting you seize vital objectives. Together, they make for a horrifying foe with myriad targets, all advancing as one.

This set contains 30 multipart plastic Tyranid miniatures:
- 1 Hive Tyrant (which can alternatively be built as a flying Winged Hive Tyrant or as a Swarmlord)
- 1 Lictor
- 3 Tyranid Warriors
- 3 Von Ryan's Leapers
- 10 Hormagaunts
- 10 Termagants
- 2 Ripper Swarms

The miniatures in this set can be customised with ease. The Hive Tyrant kit includes a choice of two pairs of rending claws, a heavy venom cannon, a stranglethorn cannon, or a horn sword and lash whip – as well as biomorps like adrenal glands and toxin sacs, and other components to customise your Hive Tyrant. You can also build a flying Winged Hive Tyrant or the insidious Swarmlord from this kit.

The Lictor can be built with a choice of two heads. This enormously customisable monstrosity can be built with different interchangeable legs, clawed arms, and scenic base elements to form various stalking poses across the battlefield. The joints in its neck and rending claws allow you to fine-tune its pose even further, extending or retracting each part of its bladed arms.

The Tyranid Warriors offer you an overwhelming choice of weaponry, including lash whips, crushing claws, devourers, rending claws, scything talons, acid sprays, a pair of bone swords, a venom cannon, a barbed strangler, and a pair of barbed stranglers. This kit also includes the option to build an Alpha Warrior with its own breastplate, head and collar, as well as shoulder pads and optional scything tail. There are also enough adrenal glands and toxin sacs for the entire unit, as well as a choice of 4 different warrior faces.

The Hormagaunts have multiple poses that can be combined with a variety of different head designs.

The Termagants can be built with one of three bio-weapons – fleshborers, devourers, or a pair of spinefists. The kit also includes special weapon options for three of the Termagants – one can be built with a shardlauncher, another with a long-barrelled stinger salvo, and one with a slime-spitting strangler.
