Like the set for 500 Worlds: Titus, The Maelstrom: Lair of the Tyrant comes as a series of books in a decorative slipcase. Each book contains new rules or lore as part of the series.

The "Lair of the Tyrant" book details Huron's latest raid and the obstacles he encounters in the form of Aeldari Corsairs. "Forge of Champions" provides you with new narrative rules to create your own character models for Warhammer 40,000. In the "Contingents" booklet, you'll find new contingent options for Chaos Space Marines, Aeldari, Orks, and Leagues of Votann armies, and "Pillage and Plunder" offers players a new campaign system for a piratical raid across the galaxy.
