T27 Xylophone Rocket Launcher on Deuce

Unleash a powerful barrage with the T27!
Late in the war, the US Army carried out extensive trials with ground-based versions of the M8 air-to-ground rocket. One of the most common adopted was the 8-tube T27 rocket launcher, codenamed ‘Xylophone’. Whilst inaccurate, the rockets had enormous destructive power, especially against unarmoured vehicles and troops caught in the open. Some of these launchers were mounted on trucks, creating a mobile system similar to the Soviet Katyusha.
On the Bolt Action tabletop, the T27 mounted on a Deuce features a powerful multiple rocket launcher, a weapon whose use requires both skill and luck, but which has absolutely devastating damage potential. It makes a great piece of experimental, low-cost self-propelled artillery for a late-war US force, using the ‘Rocket Truck’ profile from Armies of the United States: Third Edition.
