THE STORY

Sanguinius, the Great Angel, Most Honoured among the Primarchs. His glorious deeds are celebrated throughout the Imperium as the Crusade sweeps through the void. And yet, secrets and rumours surround the origins of his Legion. His unique appearance is a mystery and his dangerous homeworld is a forbidden zone for outsiders. When a disgraced remembrancer joins the expeditionary fleet to record the Primarch's deeds for posterity, he must overcome numerous obstacles to uncover the truth behind the legends. But as he accompanies the Ninth Legion to war against the enemies of the Emperor, he discovers far more than he expected, not only about the Blood Angels, but also about the nature of the Imperium itself.
