The Legion's elite warriors, battle-hardened over many conflicts, are often inducted into powerful Helstriker units. Gaining entry into these vicious flying cavalry units is an ordeal in itself, the chosen legionary first having to select their mount from among the Legion's winged manticores. In battle, Helstrikers are tasked with sweeping over enemy lines, causing as much disruption as possible, tearing apart enemy spell-casters, artillery teams, and commanders before launching devastating charges into the rear of larger formations, sending even the most powerful foes into full retreat.
