Designed as a replacement for the M3/M5 Stuart light tanks, the M24 Chaffee fought in the later years of World War II and into the Korean War. The Chaffee also served with British and Russian troops during World War II. Reliable, armed with a 75mm gun and with good off-road capability, the M24 was popular with its crews.
