THE STORY

The fortress world Regium looks back on a proud history. While others fell to ruin and damnation, it endured through the millennia, steadfastly defending the Imperium of Mankind. But now it is shaken to its foundations. Parasitic plagues run rampant, and its inhabitants dream of terrible monsters feasting on their flesh and bones.

Lieutenant Castamon of the Ultramarines knows the omens of an impending Tyranid invasion all too well. The battle-hardened veteran gathers his warriors and sends a task force to the edge of the system to destroy the Xenos before they reach Regium. But this new tendril of Hive Fleet Leviathan proves to be unpredictable and dangerous, requiring Castamon and the First Company to muster all their skill, strength, and zeal to avoid complete annihilation.
