L/I: Solar Auxilia Combined Arms Battle Group

The Solar Auxilia is a flexible fighting force that utilizes everything from massed infantry to heavy weapon emplacements and tank lines. When it takes to the battlefield as a Combined Arms Battle Group, there are few in the galaxy that can stand against it.

This jam-packed box is ideal for starting a new Solar Auxilia collection or expanding an existing army that you can unleash in Legions Imperialis. You'll also save money compared to buying the kits individually. The force is built around a solid core of infantry capable of dominating the battlefield with sheer numbers. Artillery unleashes a constant barrage of heavy firepower, while a contingent of armored carriers, main battle tanks, and super-heavy tanks ensures your mobility. A unit of aircraft completes your group, providing a swift response to any situation that arises on the battlefield.

This set contains 166 multi-part plastic miniatures, from which you can build a total of 76 models of the Solar Auxilia:

Four of the Rapiers can be built with Quad Launchers, four with Laser Destroyer Arrays, and four with Mole Mortars. Six of the Tarantulas can be built with Hyperios Air-defense Missile Launchers, and six with Tarantula Lascannon Batteries. The Auxilia Super-heavy tanks can be built as Shadowswords, Stormswords, or Stormblades. The Leman Russ tanks can be built as either Leman Russ Demolishers or Leman Russ Executioners.

The kit includes three decal sheets for Solar Auxilia vehicles, each containing 228 high-quality, water-soluble decals, and one decal sheet for Thunderbolt Fighters with 136 high-quality, water-soluble decals to decorate your miniatures. These include symbols for Cthonian Headhunters, Boremanite Devils, Arcadian Janissaries, Manachean Bulls, Saturn Rams, the Lord Marshal's Personal Cohort, Ash Scorpions, and Deathless, as well as numbers and other insignia.

This kit contains 748 plastic components, 54 Legions Imperialis round bases (25mm), 6 Legions Imperialis flying bases (40mm), and 6 ball-jointed flying staves. These miniatures are unpainted and require assembly; we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
