Grand Cathay: Battalion

The mighty nation of Grand Cathay is one of the oldest civilisations in the World of Legend, matching the realms of the Dwarfs and Elves in scope and power. It is a harmonious land, largely unchanged for thousands of years – an empire that stands eternally as a bulwark against the evil of the world.

This set provides a solid core for a force from the Grand Cathay Armies to use in Warhammer: The Old World. Elite Jade Lancers – heavily armoured cavalry – lead the charge, smashing into enemy front lines. Behind them, determined ranks of Jade Warriors march, ever ready to defend your territory or conquer new ground. Supporting the attack are two artillery pieces, raining fire from afar.

This set contains 50 multipart plastic miniatures:
- 2x Cathayan Great Cannons (which can alternatively be built as Fire Rain Rocket Batteries)
- 10x Jade Lancers
- 30x Jade Warriors

The miniatures in this set are highly customisable. The Jade Lancers can be built as one large unit or two smaller units of 5, each with an optional Champion, Standard Bearer, and Musician.

The Jade Warriors can be built as one large unit, two units of 15, or three units of 10, each with an optional Champion, Standard Bearer, and Musician. They can be built with hand weapon and shield or halberd, and heads, topknots, and cosmetic accessories are interchangeable amongst the miniatures.

The Cathayan Great Cannons can alternatively be built as Fire Rain Rocket Batteries – both options come with three crew members each, and an optional Ogre loader.

However you choose to build it, this set is a fantastic way to start a collection of the Grand Cathay Armies, or expand your collection, and save money versus buying the kits separately.

This kit comprises 734 plastic components, 2x Citadel Rectangular Bases (25mm x 50mm) 2x Citadel Square Bases (40mm x 40mm), 2x Citadel Rectangular Bases (60mm x 100mm), 10x Citadel Rectangular Bases (30mm x 60mm) and 36x Citadel Square Bases (25mm x 25mm).

This set also includes a Jade Warrior/Jade Lancer transfer sheet with 404 high-quality, waterslide transfers for your miniatures.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
