Vive l'empereur! This cry was let out by thousands of proud Frenchmen as "Les bleus" stormed forward in tight, disciplined columns on June 18, 1815, in the small Belgian town of Waterloo. Many of these veterans had served for years with Napoleon and his powerful armies. They were determined to repel Wellington's allied army and march victoriously to Brussels. The infantry columns were screened by hundreds of Voltigeurs, light infantry in loose formation, while the allied lines were bombarded from above by massive foot batteries of 6-pounders. Who can stand in their way?

This plastic kit contains enough models to assemble a complete brigade with three French line or light infantry regiments of 80 men each, 24 skirmishing Voltigeurs, a 6-pounder foot artillery battery with 3 guns, and a mounted brigade commander.

Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
