In its heyday the Ahmunite Empire had thousands of well-trained soldiers. As necromancy spread, these legions were replaced by ranks of animated corpses. These armies are just as well-equipped in death as they were in life. Infantry regiments carry tall shields and fight with either spears or a variety of ancient hand weapons. Missile troops are typically equipped with bows, and while their role remains unchanged even now, their decay and decrepitude has cost them much of their skill.
