The clatter of tanks and tracks, and the hammering of gun-fire, herald the advance of an Astra Militarum Mobile Infantry Division. These forces are well-suited to aggressively seizing strategic objectives, reinforcing yielding lines, reacting to enemy assaults, and exploiting strategic gains.

This packed box is an ideal way to start a new Astra Militarum collection – or expand an existing army – to unleash in games of Warhammer 40,000, and save money compared to buying the kits individually. This tank-heavy force includes a mighty Rogal Dorn Battle Tank, fully equipped to annihilate the toughest units your foe can throw at you. Swift PKF Hippogreifs provide rapid response and battlefield control while delivering fire support with their turret-mounted weapons. An SAF Centaur brings a unit of Shock Troopers where they are most needed and potentially turning the tide of battle in your favour. All told, it's a fast, tough force, ideal for representing a Mobile Infantry Detachment – the rules for which can be found in Armageddon: Yarrick's Return - Detachments, sold separately.

From this set, you can build 14 multi-part plastic Astra Militarum miniatures:
- 2 PKF Hippogreifs
- 1 SAF Centaur
- 1 Rogal Dorn Battle Tank
- 10 Cadian Shock Troopers

The miniatures in this box are highly customisable. Each PKF Hippogreif can choose between 4 turret-mounted weapons – a flexible Vigilator autocannon, a horde-shredding Chiron gatling cannon, a tank-melting meltagun, or a bunker-destroying heavy lascannon. Each can have a meltagun or machine gun, and there are multiple cosmetic options.

The SAF Centaur includes a variety of cosmetic options, including optional accessories and 9 interchangeable heads for the crew.

The Rogal Dorn Battle Tank can be armed with either a twin battle cannon or an Oppressor cannon with a co-axial autocannon as its turret weapon. The hull-mounted weapon can either carry a Castigator gatling cannon, to mow down infantry hordes, or a Pulveriser cannon, to target enemy tanks. It can have hull-mounted machine guns or meltaguns, and the side sponsons can be equipped with either heavy bolters or multi-meltas. There are cosmetic options, including hatches that can be built closed or with crew inside.

The Cadian Shock Trooper sergeant can be armed with either an assault rifle or a chainsword and a laser pistol or bolt pistol. There are components to equip the squad with a flamer, a grenade launcher, a meltagun, a plasma gun, and a vox-transmitter. Also included are 20 interchangeable heads and a selection of cosmetic options.
