Yellow Wash is especially suitable for light yellow and fantasy paint schemes. Washing is the application of a diluted paint in an area, a recess, a corner or a contour to define and highlight that area.

These techniques for defining models and figures are easier and more effective than diluted acrylic paints, especially on large surfaces, as the latter can dry too quickly, leaving dreaded edges and flowing less well in difficult areas due to the surface tension of the water.
