Always at the forefront of the fighting, the Waffen-SS were well-equipped, even as the supply of new materials and weapons became increasingly difficult for the Third Reich as Allied bombing raids plagued German industry.

Armed with the best weaponry the Wehrmacht could field, the Waffen-SS fought with discipline and tenacity, though they had little choice, knowing that the enemy would show them no mercy - SS troops were brutally treated if captured.

As winter conditions were synonymous with the Eastern Front, there was also an urgent need for cold weather gear during operations in the Ardennes and Italy - the Italian winter of 1944 was the coldest in 150 years....

These figures are equipped with a mix of the wool-lined M40 and fur-lined M43 Waffen-SS parkas - the latter in grey, light brown, or Italian camouflage patterns.

This kit contains 10 metal Waffen-SS models:
- NCO and 1 man with assault rifle
- 2-man LMG team
- 4 men with rifle (2 with Panzerfaust)
- 2 men with assault rifle & Panzerfaust
