Waterloo - Black Powder 2nd Edition Starter Set (German)

On a damp, cloudy Sunday in June 1815, twenty years of continuous warfare in the Napoleonic Wars came to an epic and costly close on a rain-soaked field in Belgium. These wars were indeed a global affair, with the European great powers fighting not only on the European continent but also in places as far away as India, Egypt, the Caribbean, and America. The greatest generals of the era faced each other on the battlefields. The Duke of Wellington defended a little-known ridge against the Emperor of the French. Napoleon Bonaparte, master of attack, faced British, German, Dutch, and Belgian brigades. Brigades of an inglorious army that, despite terrible losses, held the ridge for over 9 hours, enabling the arrival of the Prussian army under Blücher to finally seal the Duke's victory.

The Battle of Waterloo became a milestone in military history. A milestone that will never fade, and nothing comparable will ever be seen again.
