Since 1944, the end for Hitler's Third Reich was foreseeable. On all fronts, his troops were in retreat. With slogans of perseverance and stubbornness, however, the German armed forces clung to the hope that the Allies would tire, or that wonder weapons would come to turn the tide.

In the meantime, the German soldiers did their best to organize themselves in retreat and equip themselves with the best weapons available to them. These grenadiers are armed to the teeth with the latest weapons. All of them used an STG44, the deadly assault rifle that closed the gap between rifle and submachine gun.
These lucky soldiers have somewhat better chances in the battles with the advancing Allies.
