The main features speak for themselves: excellent capillarity, which allows the paint to spread easily over the miniature's surface and settle on all elevations and depressions of the figure. With a single application of paint, the plastic properties of a miniature can be emphasised. The paint balances out the elevations and depressions.

For ideal results, it is recommended to use a white, grey or generally light primer. The paint creates light areas on the elevations, saturated mid-tones and intense shadows in the depressions of the figure. XPRESS COLOR are very versatile and can be applied over any paint in the range. They create subtle shading and contouring effects, are glazes or filters. Transitions between shades can be blended very well. All XPRESS COLOR paints can be mixed with each other or diluted with Xpress Thinner Medium to change or create new shades.
