Vallejo Pigments Natural Iron Oxide

Vallejo Pigments, a selection of natural earth and synthetic pigments, have been chosen for their permanence, their excellent lightfastness and the extra-fine milling of their particles, which facilitates their mixtures and application to models and dioramas. The range of pigments includes a series of colours selected to represent the wear and erosion caused by the conditions of hard use and exposure on vehicles and buildings, to reproduce the dust clinging to the tracks of tanks, the rust on the armour, and the varied effects of climate and geographical conditions of campaigns.

Pigments can be applied dry, directly with a brush onto the model, as they show excellent adherence; they can also be fixed with Thinner when used to represent dry mud or accumulated dust. With Pigment Binder, pigments can be used to create volume, such as accumulated dirt and mud. Painting tools are cleaned with water.
