Vallejo Pigments Desert Dust

Vallejo Pigments, a selection of natural earth and synthetic pigments, have been chosen for their permanence, their excellent lightfastness, and the extra-fine milling of their particles, which facilitates their mixing and application to models and dioramas. The range of pigments includes a series of colors selected to represent the wear and erosion caused by the conditions of hard use and exposure on vehicles and structures, to reproduce the dust accumulated on the tracks of tanks, the rust on armor, and the diverse effects of climate and geographical operational conditions.

Pigments can be applied dry, directly to the model with a brush, as they have excellent adhesion; they can also be fixed with thinner when used to represent dry mud or accumulated dust. With Pigment Binder, the pigments can be used to create volume such as accumulated dirt and mud. Painting tools are cleaned with water.
