Vallejo Pigments Dark Steel

Vallejo Pigments, a selection of natural earth and synthetic pigments, have been chosen for their permanence, excellent lightfastness, and extra-fine milling of their particles, which facilitates mixing and their application on models and dioramas. The range of pigments includes a variety of colors selected to represent the wear and erosion caused by the harsh conditions of use and exposure of vehicles and buildings, to reproduce the dust that clogs the tracks of tanks, the rust on armor, and the various effects of climate and geographical operating conditions.

Pigments can be applied dry, directly with a brush onto the model, as they have excellent adhesion; they can also be fixed with thinner when used to represent dry mud or accumulated dust. With pigment binder, the pigments can be used to create volumes such as accumulated dirt and mud. Painting tools are cleaned with water.
