Vallejo Pigments Dark Slate Grey

Vallejo Pigments, a selection of natural earth and synthetic pigments, were chosen for their permanence, their excellent lightfastness and the extra-fine milling of their particles, which facilitates mixing and their application to models and dioramas. The range of pigments includes a series of colors chosen to represent the wear and erosion caused by the conditions of hard use and exposure of vehicles and buildings, to reproduce the dust clumped on the tracks of tanks, rust on armor, and the varied effects of climate and geographical operating conditions.

Pigments can be applied dry, directly to the model with a brush, as they have excellent adhesion; they can also be fixed with thinner when used to represent dry mud or accumulated dust. With pigment binder, the pigments can be used to create volumes such as accumulated dirt and mud. Painting tools are cleaned with water.
