Vallejo Pigments Brown Iron Oxide

Vallejo Pigments, a selection of natural earth and synthetic pigments, have been chosen for their permanence, their excellent lightfastness and the extra fine milling of their particles, which facilitates their mixing and their application to models and dioramas. The range of pigments includes a series of colours selected to represent the wear and erosion caused by harsh use and exposure to vehicles and buildings, to reproduce the dust clumped on tank tracks, the rust on armour, and the varied effects of climate and geographical operational conditions.

Pigments can be applied dry, directly with a brush to the model, as they have excellent adherence; they can also be fixed with thinner when used to represent dry mud or accumulated dust. With pigment binder, the pigments can be used to create volumes such as accumulated dirt and mud. Painting tools are cleaned with water.
