Auxiliaries are a range of mediums, varnishes, and thinners. They can be used to influence paint properties such as gloss, opacity, or drying time. Glaze Medium thins paints and extends drying time to apply glazes and pigment blends. Metallic Medium gives colors a pearlescent finish. Airbrush Thinner allows colors to be mixed in a ratio of 1 part Airbrush Thinner to 2 parts paint and used with an airbrush. Polyurethane varnishes are highly durable, can be applied with a brush or airbrush, and dry very quickly. They are applied as a final protective layer and can also be mixed with paints to alter their gloss properties. The range is diverse - from glossy to ultra-matte, various finishes can be created.
