Auxiliaries are a range of mediums, varnishes, and thinners. These can be used to influence paint properties such as gloss, opacity, or drying time. Glaze Medium thins paints and delays drying time for applying glazes and pigment mixtures. Metallic Medium gives paints a pearlescent finish. Airbrush Thinner can be mixed with paints in a 1 part Airbrush Thinner to 2 parts paint ratio and used with an airbrush. Polyurethane varnishes are very durable, can be applied with a brush or airbrush, and dry very quickly. They are applied as a final protective layer and can also be mixed with paints to alter their gloss properties. The range is diverse - various finishes can be created, from glossy to ultra-matte.
