Bolt Action: British Infantry Tank Valentine II

The British Army relied on slow but
well-armored infantry tanks to support advancing infantry. The Valentine was just the right tank for this purpose.

After its introduction in 1940, it first fought in the Western Desert and was considered very reliable by tank crews. They could repel attackers with the 40 mm 2-pounder and secondary armament of Besa machine guns.

The 16-ton machine was also used by New Zealand forces in the Far East and in significant numbers by Stalin's Red Army, who appreciated its comfort,
albeit its slow speed of only 15
miles per hour.
