US Infantry 1942-45

This box contains enough plastic figures to depict a full strength platoon plus HQ. In 1942 a company consisted of three platoons of three sections each of twelve men at full strength and an HQ of five men. There was also a weapons platoon consisting of two .30 Browning machine guns (included) and three 60mm mortars (not included). Each section included a non-commissioned officer and five armed Garand riflemen (although early on there was a rifleman armed with a Springfield rifle and a grenade launcher), two armed Garand scouts, two armed Garand BAR riflemen, and the BAR gunner and a sergeant armed with a Garand but occasionally equipped with a carbine or Thompson SMG.

Multi-part plastic kit. Must be assembled. Paints and glue not included.
