US Army 57mm Anti-Tank Gun (plastic)

Developed from the British QF 6-pounder, the 57mm M1 anti-tank gun was introduced to US Army units in 1943 and was the standard anti-tank gun used in Italy and Northern Europe until mid-1944. Whilst it struggled to penetrate heavy German tanks from the front, it proved effective in combat, being manoeuvrable, easy to conceal, and having a high rate of fire.

In Bolt Action games, the 57mm M1 can be fielded in artillery platoons and counts as a medium anti-tank gun, which can be towed by most vehicles.

Contains

• A gun frame, which can be assembled as either the British 6-pounder or the US 57mm M1 gun, with either standard or folding airborne troop trail legs
• A crew frame, which can be assembled to make four crewmen in US Army mid to late-war uniforms. There are various heads and arms included, along with a range of equipment, as well as shells and spent casings to decorate your bases. The crew frame contains enough parts to make the three-man crew, plus an extra soldier who can be used as a platoon commander, observer, or simply to add to your infantry squads.
