The largest of the ancient race of Ents, Treebeard is incredibly old, and may have roamed the forests of Middle-earth since the very beginning of the world. Since the Entwives were lost, Treebeard has paid little mind to what occurs beyond the confines of Fangorn Forest, instead focusing on nurturing those under his care. However, should Fangorn be threatened, Treebeard will undoubtedly unleash his wrath.

Meriadoc Brandybuck, a Hobbit often called Merry, is a well-known mischief-maker and prankster. More than once, he has been responsible for setting off Gandalf's fireworks, much to the Grey Wizard’s annoyance. However, Merry is willing to help Frodo in his quest, setting out from the Shire into a life of adventure and discovery that will forever change him.

Peregrin Took, or Pippin to his friends, is a carefree Hobbit, content with his life of mischief alongside his best friend. But when Pippin volunteers to join the Fellowship, he is unaware of the dangers that lie ahead – and that he must leave second breakfast behind in the Shire.

Treebeard is a natural leader for the Fangorn Army List, both for his Middle-earth background, but also for his almost unstoppable might on the battlefield. He can carry Merry and Pippin into battle, as he did when he led the Last March of the Ents, and the kit includes options to fit the two Hobbits on the branches of his shoulder. Merry and Pippin are included in the set with standalone foot models – in fact, they’re a little taller than usual, having recently imbibed Ent-draughts, which have given them a growth spurt!

This kit comprises 63 plastic components, with which you can build 1x Treebeard (which can be built with or without "riding" versions of Merry and Pippin on him), 1x Meriadoc Brandybuck on foot, and 1x Peregrin Took on foot. It is supplied with 1x Citadel 60mm Round Base and 2x Citadel 25mm Round Bases.
