THE STORY
Horus is dead. Terra lies in ruins. The Emperor is silent. From the ruins of the Imperial Palace, the survivors emerge into the light of a dubious dawn. New forces are present, having traversed the galaxy to bring salvation to the Imperium. However, they are not only hailed as saviours but also reviled as usurpers. The survivors of Horus' armada are scattered, desperately trying to evade retribution. Doubt and discord spread through their ranks, and even their dark gods are silent. Amidst all the grief and confusion, some hopeful souls believe the war is over and a new era of rebuilding is imminent. But there are also those wise enough to know that this war will never end and only one question matters: Who will rise and who will fall in this new, perilous age?
