THE STORY

Twenty years after the nightmarish events of Double Eagle, the Imperium is locked in a grueling war over the dead macropole of Vesperus, a city of interceptors.

Former combat pilot Bree Jagdea has long since left the nerve-wracking aerial combat behind. Jagdea is content managing supply flights for the war and had essentially retired. But when enemy forces begin a merciless bombardment of the macropole, Jagdea is thrust back into the ranks of the Aeronautica – forcibly reassigned to the infamous Squadron 66, with whom she performs suicidal dive starts and extreme interception missions through Vesperus' deadly hidden routes.

Back in a world where the slightest mistake means instant death, Jagdea must try to outmaneuver the enemy ace pilots, secure Vesperus for the Imperium, and somehow land again with her sanity intact.
