When Stormhawk Interceptors launch from warships in orbit to engage and destroy the enemy with incredible speed, they present a formidable sight. They are a hymn to air superiority that the Space Marines are only too happy to sing. Their frontal armour and superior firepower make them excellent for air combat. They hunt through the clouds, defiantly blasting target after target into flaming oblivion. When they approach in the Vehemence attack pattern, as is often the case, and deploy their countermeasures to divert enemy fire, a golden halo surrounds them, unequivocally showing every enemy that the world beneath that particular sky belongs to the Emperor.
