Solar Auxilia: Basilisk/Medusa

The Medusa and Basilisk artillery tanks employed by the Solar Auxilia are armoured bombardment platforms, their heavy weapons mounted in a hull derived from the Leman Russ. Protected from enemy fire and the dangerous atmospheres of toxic worlds or xenos-controlled planets, these mobile siege batteries can keep pace with the advancing cohort, raining fire upon enemy positions while line troops advance to engage the survivors.

From this multipart plastic kit, you can build a Solar Auxilia Basilisk or Medusa, an armoured artillery tank with a powerful siege weapon. The Basilisk's long-barrelled Tremor Cannon fires explosive shells over incredible distances, while the Medusa's mortar fires rounds so heavy they can breach mighty walls. The tank has a fully detailed interior and the rear hatch and roof can be opened, revealing the two loaders of the siege weapon. Both the gun and the rear hatch can be assembled without glue, allowing you to change their positions during the game.

The tank's front hatch can be built closed or open, revealing a gunner or a Solar Auxilia gunner with a mounted weapon – a Heavy Flamer, Multilaser, or Machine Gun. The kit includes parts to equip your Basilisk or Medusa with a Hunter-Killer Missile and a Dozer Blade, and you'll also find cosmetic options such as seals and different heads for the crew.

This kit consists of 187 plastic components, as well as a Solar Auxilia vehicle transfer sheet with 180 waterside decals. This miniature is unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
