The Varanguard are mighty champions in their own right, warlords who have fought countless campaigns and conquests over the centuries. These god-touched knights have risen through the ranks of Archaon’s legions to stand at his side, having passed the many trials that the Exalted Grand Marshal of Chaos has set for them. Sworn to the eternal service of the Three-Eyed King, they command the respect of mortal lords and daemon princes alike, for when they ride, it is only at the behest of the Everchosen. Where the Varanguard ride, darkness follows.

This multi-part plastic kit contains three Varanguard – fell knights sworn to the personal service of the Everchosen. The Varanguard ride monstrous, mutated steeds, twisted mockeries of a mortal horse with fangs, ripping claws and baroque armour. The knights themselves are clad in elaborate plate armour with blasphemous warpsteel shields and each can be armed with one of the following weapons: a fellspear, daemonforged blade and a daemonforged tusk spear.

The kit contains many interchangeable parts – three helmeted heads, three bare heads, three spears, three swords, two axes, a hammer, six shoulder pads and three steed heads – allowing you to build unique envoys of Archaon!

This kit comprises 111 plastic components and is supplied with three Citadel 75x42mm Oval Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
