Only the most skilled warriors are chosen for the elite ranks of the Serpent Guard, who serve as the personal guards of the Serpent Lord himself. These warriors do not fight with swords, but with well-balanced spears, which they wield with masterful precision and speed. Like the master they serve, the Serpent Guard coats the tips of their spears with a fast-acting poison. Should it enter an enemy's bloodstream, they will succumb to its potent effects in seconds.
