Sd.Kfz 251/8 Ambulance

The Hanomag Sd.Kfz 251, named after its manufacturer Hannoversche Maschinenbau AG, was the ubiquitous German halftrack used to transport Panzergrenadiers throughout World War II.

The carrier version was adapted to various duties throughout the conflict and saw service in most theatres of war. The German designation for the carrier, SdKfz 251, was an abbreviation of Special Purpose Vehicle, and the 251/8 was converted for use as an ambulance. The Red Cross on the canvas is moulded on, so you won't have any trouble painting a nice, crisp image!
