Armies of the warring Anglo-Saxon kingdoms were a common sight in the British Isles from the 5th to the 11th century.
Ceorls (also known as Churls) were free peasants who formed the basis of society in Anglo-Saxon England.
Their free status was characterised by the right to bear arms, military service in the field (army), attendance at local courts and payment of dues directly to the king.

Unarmoured and armed with spears, swords and axes, Ceorls gathered under the dragon standards at their lord's call to arms.

The kit contains 32 28mm plastic infantry models.

Models are supplied unpainted and require assembly.
