The British Royal Navy has centuries of history and an excellent reputation. At the beginning of the 20th century, Britain still ruled the waves.

All over the globe, Royal Navy ships could send armed sailors ashore as landing parties, coastal patrols, or for boarding actions against other ships.
Mainly armed with the reliable Lee-Enfield rifle and often supported by a Lewis machine gun, sections of highly disciplined and well-equipped marines with considerable experience in close combat were a formidable opponent.

This box contains:
- 1 NCO with SMG
- 2-man Lewis machine gun LMG team
- 7 sailors with rifles (3 with Molotov cocktails)

As World War II progressed, this role was also taken over by khaki-uniformed detachments of the Royal Navy Commando or the Royal Marines, although naval land units continued to exist throughout the war.

In their dark blue uniforms and 1908 pattern webbing, these Jack Tars provide a splash of colour in an otherwise khaki-clad British force.

Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
