Pike & Shotte Epic Battles - English Civil Wars Infantry Battalia

Few sights are as glorious as that of a 17th-century battalia drawn up in ranks, awaiting the order to engage. Drums beat out commands, officers make rousing speeches, and brave ensigns wave regimental colours for the men to rally around in the heat of battle. Pikemen, clutching their 16-foot ashwood poles tipped with a vicious steel point, stand packed tight, with the fortunate few who possess armour forming the front ranks. On their flanks stand the ‘shotte’, blowing on their glowing matches to ensure their musket powder flashes true and spits heavy lead balls towards the approaching enemy!

This box contains three plastic combined pike & shotte regiments (40 pike and 40 musket, each with command), plastic bases, and a full-colour flag sheet featuring Parliamentary and Royalist colours.
