Bolt Action: Panzer Lehr Squad

The Panzer Lehr Division was formed in 1943 from veterans of the North African, Sicilian, and Italian campaigns. These highly experienced troops formed the core of this training and demonstration unit and were considered an elite formation from the start.

In 1944, the Panzer Lehr Division participated in the invasion of Hungary before being transferred to France to await the Allied invasion of Europe. Unlike other Panzer Divisions of the German Wehrmacht, all Panzergrenadiers of the Panzer Lehr Division were mounted on halftracks, making them the only fully mechanized unit in the German army. Furthermore, they were the first to fight alongside the new Tiger II tanks. They also wore a distinctive double-breasted StuG-style jacket instead of the normal Heer field blouse.

The box contains 10 metal Panzer Lehr models and a plastic base.

Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
