Megatrakk Scrapjets are a firm favourite among Speedwaaagh! Kults and ground-bound Flyboyz alike, offering rocket-propelled acceleration, impressive firepower, and the exuberant joy of ramming through enemy lines in what is essentially a giant, thrust-powered drill. What's more, these vehicles allow downed Ork pilots to get back into a cockpit of sorts and revel in the half-remembered joys of mowing down enemies at close range. Of course, in some cases, giving in to this urge is precisely why the Flyboy crashed in the first place. Explosions bloom across enemy lines as their rokkit launchas strike their targets, while Grot tail gunners let rip with chattering big shootas – the arsenal of weaponry welded, bolted, riveted and lashed onto a Megatrakk Scrapjet is truly fearsome.

This multi-part plastic kit contains all the components necessary to assemble a Megatrakk Scrapjet. Based on the fuselage of a downed Ork aircraft, the Scrapjet is essentially a metal tube packed with things designed to make enemies die – a nose-mounted rokkit kannon (fed by a belt of rokkits!), rokkits that can be modelled as partially fired, a drill mounted on the front turbine with accompanying spiked ram, a twin big shoota at the front and another twin big shoota manned by a Grot tail gunner. Even if the wings were torn off in whatever horrible crash brought the Scrapjet back to earth, there are still tailfins and ailerons on the fuselage – because they look cool, and that’s what makes a Flyboy! The pilot himself is bedecked in flying jacket, goggles and a long scarf that flutters in the slipstream, and sits in a cockpit full of dials (which he of course ignores). The Scrapjet features a huge jet engine at the rear, which propels the half-track forward.

This kit comes as 65 components and is supplied with a Citadel 150mm Oval base.
