This supplement delves into the historical sources of Arthur and provides all the rules and army lists you need to assemble a heroic British force defending against the depredations of the Saxons, Picts, Scots, and Irish in the Dark Ages. The heroes and villains who have populated the legends are also included, allowing you to field your favorite Arthurian characters on the battlefield.

The scenarios for Arthur's twelve battles are detailed, as is his final battle at Camlann, where he faced his arch-enemy Mordred. A campaign system allows you to play these as a single story, with the option of playing Arthur in a Welsh, Northern, Southern, or Pan-British context. An additional campaign brings the storyline described in Geoffrey of Monmouth's forged Arthurian history to the table, culminating in victories in the mass battle of Siesia, where Arthur and his allies faced the might of Rome and its allies in the East.
