The Dutch and Belgian contingents of the Waterloo campaign formed one-third of the Allied army, making the regiments critical to Wellington's success. The Iron Duke was initially unsure of their fighting prowess, as many soldiers in the regiments had served in the Grand Armée under the Corsican ogre Bonaparte just a year or so earlier! Wellington needn't have worried, for the Dutch and Belgian infantry largely stood firm despite massive attacks by French columns and even repulsed an attack by the Old Guard at the end of a long and bloody day.

The box contains 24 Warlord Resin Belgian Line Infantry miniatures (including a command group with officer, drummer, ensign, and NCO), a full-color flag sheet, and plastic bases.

Although we know it's unlikely that Dutch and Belgian troops carried flags at Waterloo, we've included a full-color flag sheet, as we know wargamers love to see their units literally flying the flag.
