Model Color Black Wash

Model Wash is a range of washes manufactured with a unique water-based formula. The product offers model painters new techniques for reproducing the processes of aging and exposure to the elements. Colors with a matte finish and high capillarity, formulated to highlight the tiny details of the model's panels and the contrasts caused by wear and accumulated dirt from operational and weather exposure. The versatility of Model Wash makes the product useful for both quick shading and for creating dust and dirt accumulations around the model's details, such as rivets and panel lines. The washes are also used as a filter, applied evenly to the model, to change the base color. Model Wash can be applied with a brush and airbrush and dries very quickly, allowing painting or weathering to continue after about 20 minutes. Painting tools are cleaned with water.

Packaging: Available in 35 ml bottles with flip-top/eyedropper closure.
Applications: Model Wash Black 76.518 is recommended for extremely dark washes and pin washes in the most recessed areas or parts.
