Mechanicum: Vultarax Stratos-Automata

Vultarax Automata utilise a complex cortical unit to control the various anti-gravitic engines and thrusters that keep them aloft, allowing them to operate more independently. While the Magi of the Mechanicum employ Vultarax as vanguard units to race ahead, engaging and harassing foes, those Automata granted to Skitarii conclaves are used mainly as scouts. For this secondary role, the Mechanicum allows a few Stratos-Automata to be retrofitted with additional auspex scanner arrays.

This multi-part plastic kit builds one Vultarax Stratos-Automaton, a hovering weapons platform for your Mechanicum and Skitarii Conclaves armies in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Armed with an arc blaster, Vultarax missile launcher, and dendrite talons, this swift unit is a threat at both short and long range. You also get a choice of different dendrite talon and tentacle designs, allowing you to customise your miniature.

This miniature has no specific allegiance symbols, allowing you to field it with any Mechanicum force, whether you believe the Emperor to be the true Omnissiah or a false prophet.

This kit also includes 1 x Mechanicum Constructs Transfer Sheet, with 558 high-quality decals. These feature motifs for Opus Machina, Opus Taghmata, Iungum Cybernetica, Cybernetica Cohort, and Fracta Aedificium, as well as other stripes, markings, and cog patterns to adorn your miniatures.

This kit comprises 92 plastic components, 1x Citadel 100mm Round Base, and 1x 115mm Flying Stem. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
