Mechanicum: Castellax Battle-Automata Maniple

Castellax battle-automata are multi-purpose combat robots developed during the Great Crusade from older models. These terrifying, anthropomorphic machines were designed for siege and assault, standing three times the height of a man, their machine spirits quick to react and notoriously aggressive. The Castellax class forms the backbone of the Legio Cybernetica and the elite defender formations of many Forge Worlds, who rely on their formidable might, armoured endoskeleton, and atomantic shield technology for protection.

This multipart plastic kit builds two Castellax battle-automata, ubiquitous Mechanicum constructs in the Age of Darkness. Each Castellax battle-automaton can be equipped with a pair of claw-like shock chargers, or one can be equipped with circular power blades, and each can be armed with a choice of built-in bolters or flamers. The kit also includes a choice of shoulder-mounted weapon options – two autocannons, a darkfire cannon, and a multi-melta.

You can further customise your mechanical monsters with a choice of three different arm joints for each automaton, and joints in the shoulders and waist, allowing for a variety of poses. Should you equip your automata with shock chargers, you can build the claws closed or open and ready to seize the foe.

This kit comprises 191 plastic components and two Citadel 60mm Round Bases. Also included is a Mechanicum Construct Transfer Sheet featuring 558 high-quality waterslide transfers for your miniatures.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.
