THE STORY

Deprivation and hard work are the rewards for the weakness of the macropole. No one is without guilt. The planetary governor has fallen and been deposed after a scandalous betrayal. The Adeptus Arbites patrols the smoke-choked Zontals and Verticals, tracking down traitors and mercilessly enforcing the law of the Imperium.

As a new governor from outside is appointed, the macropole oscillates between order and anarchy. Rumors of a rebellion spread from the heights of the Belt down to the depths of the Neg. Rival gangs seize the opportunity and fight for territory, while forbidden cults venture out of the shadows.

But unnoticed by all, an even more terrible danger lurks in the darkness.
