Maggotkin of Nurgle: Bubonic Cell Spearhead

A plague cell, led by a Rot Messenger warlock, travels through the realms, bringing contagion and decay to lands previously untouched by disease. Part of this vile gathering are particularly lively and mischievous demons, snatched from the depths of Father's realm in corrupting rituals. The warriors of the Rotten Swamp creed are often drawn to these infected hordes, hoping to gain some knowledge of plagues to enhance the power of their poisons.

Father Nurgle calls to war, and this box is the ideal way to start a new collection of Nurgle's Maggot Clan—or expand an existing army—and save money compared to buying the kits individually. This army is led by a Rot Messenger Sorcerer, wielding the foul magic of his patron god. The bulk of the army consists of a Cult of the Rotfen Creed, mortal followers who seek to spread the influence of Nurgle's plagues. A sizable contingent of Nurglings is also included. These frolicking daemons are difficult to kill, making them ideal for holding key objectives. An eager Slime Beast provides support, ready to charge the greatest foes. These miniatures form a complete spearhead force, meaning you're ready to dive straight into exciting, tactical games and drown the Mortal Realms in streams of filth with this box.

The miniatures in this box are easy to customize. The Rot Messenger Sorcerer has several heads to choose from – a human head and a mutated fly head.

The slime beast has three options for its belly, two sets of hands and feet, three faces, two tentacle combs, and two drooling tongues.

Nurgling mounds can be built in dozens of different ways.

The Rotten Swamp Creed includes one Weald Lord Champion, one Bloated One with Painclaws or Painclaw and Hooknet, two Carrion Hunters, each with a choice of Hookshot or Impaler, and six Swamp Folk Outcasts, each with a choice of Gallwood Weapons or Gallwood Weapon and Shield.

This kit consists of 161 plastic parts and contains 6 Citadel 40mm round bases, 6 Citadel 25mm round bases, 3 Citadel 32mm round bases, 2 Citadel 28.5mm round bases, and 1 Citadel 60mm round base. These miniatures require assembly and are unpainted; we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
