M3 Lee Tank

The first M3 Lee/Grant tanks were commissioned at the end of 1940, following the collapse of France and the increased threat of war for the USA. In addition to the American army, it was also used by the British and Soviet armies.
The M3 saw its first deployment with the British 8th Army in North Africa, where it also received its nickname, Lee or Grant, depending on the series.
Overall, the M3 was highly valued for its mechanical reliability, good armor, and heavy firepower.
