Legions Imperialis: Thunderbolt Fighters Squadron

The Thunderbolt is a heavy fighter that combines devastating offensive potential with high speed and maneuverability. It forms the core of the Imperial Armada's intra-atmospheric combat aircraft. While the Thunderbolt's primary role is air superiority, its most famous characteristic is its sheer resilience – it is not uncommon for a Thunderbolt to return to base having sustained damage that would have brought down a lesser aircraft.

If air superiority is your goal, Thunderbolt Fighters are the answer. These versatile aircraft are equipped with twin lascannons to decimate enemy tank columns, as well as quad autocannons or Avenger bolt cannons to tear apart enemy aircraft and ground targets.

These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis if you mount them on separately available Aeronautica Imperialis bases.

This set contains:

• 4x multi-part plastic Thunderbolt Fighter miniatures (Any of these miniatures can be built with Avenger Bolt Cannons instead of Quad Autocannons. This kit also includes a selection of Hellstrike Missiles, Skystrike Missiles, and Wing Bombs, which you can equip your miniatures with.)
• 4x round flying bases with ball-jointed flying stems for Legions Imperialis (40mm)
• 1x Thunderbolt decal sheet

These miniatures are unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
