Legions Imperialis: Malcador Squadron

The design of the Malcador Battle Tank offers it several advantages, the greatest of which is its battle speed, quite remarkable for a tank of its size thanks to its special propulsion system. During the Horus Heresy, it was relegated to the second line of Imperial Guard units as focus shifted to smaller, more tactically flexible tanks. The demands of war brought it back into general use, where it was deployed in massive formations and equipped with a variety of weapons.

This multi-part plastic kit allows you to build four Epic Scale Malcadors, battle tanks for your Solar Auxilia armies. Faster and lighter armoured than the Leman Russ Battle Tank, they can be equipped with a variety of weapons for their intended battlefield role. The turret can bear a versatile Malcador Battlecannon, an armour-piercing Malcador Lascannon, or a long-range Malcador Vanquisher Battlecannon. The hull can house a Heavy Bolter, a Lascannon, Autocannon, or Demolisher Cannon. The sponsons can carry Malcador Autocannons, Malcador Lascannons, or Malcador Heavy Bolters. You can further customise your squadron with various gunners, spotters, or a closed hatch on the turret.

This kit comprises 124 plastic components and a transfer sheet. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
